Nick Smith

Meet Nick Smith, Director of Landscape Architecture at The Garrett Companies. As part of the development team, Nick provides landscape architectural design for all projects developed by The Garrett Companies, as well as third party clients. After graduating from Ball State in 2005, Nick worked for several Landscape Architecture firms in Columbus, Los Angeles, and Dallas. With the opportunity to move back to Indy and live closer to his family, Nick joined The Garrett Companies in 2020. Nick has worked on design projects within the hospitality, commercial, multifamily residential, and municipal industries around the world and has licensure in 6 different states. As for his personal life, Nick and his wife have two boys. Nick enjoys playing golf, riding bikes with his family, and working on DIY home renovation projects.
